Experience Escape the Tower, the true-to-life escape game based on the secret ASDIC Development of Sonar Technology at Casa Loma. THE allied submarine detection investigation committee originally based in London was destroyed during the World War II German bombing known as the London Blitz. The British Admiralty contacted Corman Engineering to secretly create a new ASDIC in Canada which could be securely housed away from detection. William Corman handpicked a dozen engineers to help in the development of Sonar to assist the allied troops. He selected Casa Loma as the location, for he felt it would be an unlikely suspected laboratory — especially since it was being used to hold dances every Saturday night. The covert operation began in 1941, and only a handful of workers and Kiwanis Club members were aware of its existence. Ironically, the only thing keeping the public from accessing the laboratories was a padlock and a sign that read "CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS — SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE" As you walk through the towers you will observe props and replicas which create the backdrop for the Escape the Tower Experience.

This was one of my favorites rooms. So much to do and we succeeded with 2 min to spare. There were 6 of us which seemed like a good number. The actors really added to the experience and helped you not get too far off track if you were doing something really dumb.
You’re in a castle. Nuff said.
The actors and game staff were fantastic. So helpful and really loved their work.

I’ve done different escape rooms at Casa Loma and you really can’t beat the environment of it. Traversing through a castle during an escape room is undeniably cool. This one also incorporated puzzles better into it than other rooms I’ve done here, but also seemed to have less of a compelling story so you have trade offs.

Superb location! The puzzles weren’t all the most original or fresh, but the atmosphere and theme made it a fantastic experience. We also enjoyed the interaction of the staff/actors and their roasting us as we went. Very fun!

Solid room with a variety of puzzles. I’d pick this one over one like bootleggers if you have a big group of friends as you won’t get split up in this one. There’s still lots to do, but at least you are in the same space throughout!
