Permanently Closed - The venue of the game was the apartment of Lord Wicklewood, who spent the last years of his life in this house in Budapest. The old chicken catcher was a true adventurer, perhaps the last bloody figure of his profession, who dedicated his life to finding lost treasures. Novels and movies have told the stories of many treasure hunters-adventurers, but few know that the heroes of the best known were modeled on him. At the dawn of his life, he was desperate that no one pursued this beautiful vocation, he was left alone in the world with so many unexplored mysteries. One day he decided to turn his apartment into a real adventure venue and invite the bravest, most capable candidates, who, if solved by Lord Wicklewood’s cunning games, would have a chance to enter the wonderful, vanished world of adventurers to take this noble craft forward. In the meantime, the master had unfortunately left, but his apartment, along with the rehearsals, remained here for the enterprising to test themselves. For anyone who gets out of Lord Wicklewood’s puzzle rooms, nothing will be impossible for him, and he can choose to return to his usual life or leave it behind to enter a new one. Get into this amazing adventure and get out if you can!

An interesting entry and hint system they used. It is a more traditional game. There was a physical puzzle but the GM forgot to close a door so we skipped it totally. It was very hot in the room.
The design was okay, traditional room-like game. It was terribly hot in the room!

The Wicklewood Heritage: An eccentric adventurer named Lord Wicklewood converted his apartment into a treasure hunter's dream with a series of puzzles and riddles designed to engage willing game players for generations to come. We were invited to play his game and prove ourselves worthy of the title escapologists. Pros: The mystery began from the moment we stepped into the room. We appreciated the added intrigue even before beginning the official game. Upon entering Lord Wicklewood's apartment, we discovered a wide variety of puzzle types. This room had some unique mechanical puzzles and riddles which were fun to solve. The game master helped as necessary, though part of the fun was the relative independence of the game. We progressed quickly through the puzzles and successfully escaped. Cons: The storyline was not clear to us in the beginning and not clear throughout the game. The room was decorated and filled with props but not in any spectacular way. We enjoyed our experience in the Wicklewood Heritage. This was a great game for newbies and escape room addicts alike!
