By far, this was the most unforgettable and unique Airbnb experience I’ve enjoyed. The stay features two cabins on a ranch filled with rich lore and a blend of fact and fiction. The desert artistry combined with the area's culture of alien sightings makes it a must-visit destination for seasoned adventurers and curious minds.
One of the standout elements is the immersive puzzle experience woven into the stay. Multiple storylines are in play, each one tied to the unique personalities of the family whose stories unfold as you explore. Each room reflects the distinct traits and interests of these characters, making every discovery feel intentional and meaningful. Our group of eight loved collaborating on the puzzles together, following the clues, and solving the mysteries of the ranch.
Unlike traditional escape rooms, there’s no time limit, which allows you to fully appreciate the history, savor the puzzles, and immerse yourself in the world that’s been crafted. Every reveal feels rewarding, and each new clue brought so much excitement to our group as it unlocked new rooms and worlds to explore. It’s clear that a lot of heart and thought went into the design of this experience.
Side Note: Aurora's room is an inaccessible supply closet, and NOT PART OF THE GAME which had us wondering for an hour if it was part of the puzzle until we messaged the very responsive host of that little hiccup. This experience is a hidden gem tucked into the heart of the desert.
If you’re looking for something immersive, creative, and completely out of the ordinary, this is it. Absolutely magical and worth every moment.
Our group of 8 made a weekend stay, and spent an evening on it.
Note: gameplay can be done anytime, and spaced out throughout your time of stay, but I highly recommend playing in the evening dark underneath the night sky full of stars, and just done in one go.
