Skip this game. We heard after we booked it that this was a pre bought game and they donβt have the rights to change it up. Itβs an old school Atlantis game with plenty of tedious time wasting puzzles. Additionally our game master was very bad.

Overall this game is well designed with fun puzzles! The game guide gave too many clues and nudges without us struggling or really attempting the puzzles. The lighting made one puzzle very difficult for colorblind members of our party and it was nearly impossible to do with two people for one puzzle. I would recommend booking with 3 people for that reason and to set clear lines for clues with the game guides (I am not sure if this is the training or just one person but it wouldnβt hurt). The staff was also very friendly and tried to create a positive atmosphere.
Great! Set pieces made sense and it felt very immersive.
The staff was nice, however the game guide was constantly giving us unneeded clues/nudges. In one instance she told us how to solve a puzzle without giving us the opportunity to really try.

Great theming that stuck out throughout the room and was very immersive.

One puzzle did not send out the item you were supposed to receive. The game guide came in to get it for us but only after we had to ask and point it out to her.

Light crawling is required.
This game has one puzzle that is not good for color blind people.

Some very difficult puzzles, but we also found them very straightforward and fun. Tech aspects worked perfectly - this was our personal favorite of the trip. Beth was an amazing guide!

Absolutely beautiful but way, way too dark. The puzzles were so so finicky that even after completing correctly they would not register and had to be done multiple times. One in particular was extremely tedious to the point of βthis is not fun anymore.β

This room looked very coolβsuper immersive and detail-orientedβand had some very fun, very unique puzzles. My complaints that keep it from being a favorite are twofold: 1. We had six people, it says it fits up to eight, but we only had one lantern to light up the room which was very dark at times. And we were told specifically not to use phone flashlights and just use the lantern. It was a fun immersive part of the room that I like, but two or even three lanterns. 2. There was more than one finicky puzzles that we had correct but had to keep wasting time doing because it didnβt work right the first time (even when our GM confirmed we were doing it correctly but just needed to do it again making sure to do it slower, more precisely, etc. Just annoying to have to solve the same puzzle four times because in order to solve it you almost have to meta game to make sure the mechanism was actually working.
Some really unique and fun puzzles!
Really cool and very immersive

Game play was ok. We had the first puzzle solved pretty quick. But we didnβt know that the things you move to set the code had to be PERFECTLY set in place. We wasted almost 12 minutes not knowing we were correct. The numbers were right the items just wasnβt perfect until we used a clue and the guy told us to hold them in place. He could have told us we were right and what to do when he saw it wasnβt working. We were saying the answer out loud so he had to hear us. The game design was good

Once again greatest downfall of this room was that itβs not private . The puzzles were fun and there was some technology used

We've done just about every room at Gatlin's now and this is my 2nd favorite here so far. Its challenging, but the puzzles make sense and flow nicely. Its somewhat linear at times, so don't come with a lot of people as they might get left out.
Very fun and some unique puzzles and some twists on common ones.
Atmosphere was fantastic. Great sets and great lighting!
Our GM was perfect and she asked beforehand if we wanted to be prompted for clues, which we love. Sometimes, we've noticed at Gatlins, the gamemasters try to help a little too much when we could have figured it out, but our gamemaster for Atlantis only helped when needed and gave us the perfect clues to nudge us in the right direction.

Hard
It was tricky, but it made sense. There is one puzzle that is quite the time suck and if you start off on the wrong foot with it, can spell disaster if you let it get away from you.
High tech
I think there was one standard lock in the whole room and it made sense where it was.
6
Any more than six would be cramped and I think 6 would be pushing it. We did it with 4 adults and an 8 year old and there was just enough for all of us to move around.
Not scary
Its not scary, but it is quite dark in areas.

Spoiler: There is a small tunnel that you need to crawl through. There's also a color puzzle and with the lighting in there, can be very tricky if you have color issues.
See above, there is a tunnel that requires one person to crawl through. All other activities should be fine. One color puzzle can be tricky due to lighting.

While there is no parking directly at Gatlins, there are plenty of paid parking lots around the downtown area within a quick walk of the entrance.
