Really enjoyed Once Upon a Time ! My friend and I did 3 in the same day. this one plus The Gift and Fair Game. I loved Once upon a Time the best and My friend enjoyed Fair Game the best. Playing with 2 people: Once upon a Time- great theme. Immersive. More technology forward. We had about 15 min left when we escaped. Fair Game - lots of puzzles. Stayed busy the whole time. Lots of “games” within the room. Escaped with around 3 min left Gift - we liked this one but of the 3 we did we liked this one the least. It was a lot of puzzles. Definitely challenging. We got a little frustrated toward the end but managed to escape with around 3 min left If you are inthe salt lake area definitely go try out Red Door.

The theme and games were fun, but some of the puzzles were frustrating. I swear we got one correct, but nothing happened and so we worked on it for another 7 minutes and then only after we asked for a hint, did it “open” even though we had tried that combination already. Not sure if that was the GM error or not. Also, another puzzle we solved, but the code for it was so hidden/obscure that when we were done with the room (we didn’t escape) the GM showed us where it was and it was still so hard to see/find. That really takes away from the momentum and makes the game frustrating when you can’t even see the code you just “unlocked”. This seems to be a theme with the Red Door rooms, in my experience. It was still fun. I wish we would have made it all the way through. We did this room with 2 people, so I think having 4 would have helped complete it.

I honestly really like this one! The only reason I didn’t favorite it is because there is one puzzle where you kinda have to guess to get it right and it got mildly frustrating.

The carnival theme really lends itself to fun, physical puzzles that are approachable for everyone. It's a very bright and colorful time, great for kids who love to do rooms. One puzzle stumped us pretty good near the end, but I didn't necessarily feel clever once we got it. A fun time if you want to introduce a friend to escape rooms.

Fair game was really well done and a very high caliber of room. The puzzles were interesting and the room kept evolving.

This one is a lot of fun. The only reason why I didn’t love it was because one element of the room wasn’t set up correctly. It was a little disappointing. We were able to get through it, but it made things confusing. There were a few mechanical puzzles that were a lot of fun and I enjoyed the theme a lot as well.

Nice set design but holy shit. One puzzle made absolutely no sense. The GM was a piece of garbage and couldn’t help us when needed. I wanted to like this room but I couldn’t due to the horrible GM. Fire that trash of a GM.
