Once again, the set takes center stage for this room. The different sections are all gorgeous and felt like you were in the middle of a movie set. The sand on the floor was a nice touch and really gave you just the right ambiance. The golden idols and decorations were top notch and looked amazing. My only quibble of the room, and its one that I have with many of the "ancient" rooms, is that they still rely on number and letter locks. There are lots of great next generation triggers that don't rely on the modern locks, but the opening room is full of them. I have seen in future rooms I've done that they replaced these types of locks with handmade ones done with a 3D printer and then aged. Also, this is just another quibble of the style, but is there any way to get rid of having to laminate clues and puzzle pieces. It just ruins the illusion. Anyway, back to the room. The puzzles were a lot of fun and worked well with the room. The final puzzle seems like it could be a great finale but the electronics were very wonky and didn't trigger properly. Overall this was a solid room.

Enjoyable game, had some cool sets. The puzzles were all pretty good. One of the first rooms I ever played. This is the room that sparked my interest in escape rooms.

Gameplay

Good flow, a bit dark though.

Atmosphere

Really nice job with the sets
