Over 150 years ago, in the small town of MaComb, Ontario, 3 women who were discovered to be witches, were burned at the stake. A few days later, a woman claiming that her body was being possessed, entered the towns graveyard, where witnesses said that it appeared she was casting a curse on the town and its ancestors. Since that day, the MaComb water has run red. Legend has it, by simply entering the graveyard you become cursed and unable to leave unless you can solve the graveyards mysteries. You must end the curse on MaComb and find the key to escape the graveyard. You have 60 minutes, or your soul will be swallowed by the graveyard forever.

A solid room but don’t know if I’d call it terpeca nominee worthy. Not spooky at all. Played in a team of three but you could definitely complete with two. Finished with ten minutes to spare and no hints. One puzzle (“puzzle”!) drove us bananas for a bit but we got there eventually. Overall a good time but wouldn’t bring more than 4 people unless you’re all beginners.
I really liked the customer service at Next Level, but it might be worth mentioning there was a bit of an unpleasant… smell… in the lobby area. It didn’t spread to the rooms but everyone in my group took note of it. Unsure if this is a one time thing but I would definitely mention it if I went back and it was still there.

The setting is relatively dim but not scary. The space is large, with detailed scenery and multiple rooms. There’s a good balance between locks and mechanisms, and the puzzles are well-integrated into the theme without feeling out of place. There’s background music and some lighting changes. The GM closely monitors the progress and provides hints when needed. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience.

This room isn’t bad, our experience just didn’t live up to the hype
The game flowed well, but nothing was particularly exciting or interesting
The background music was very quiet and basic. Nothing particularly interesting or unique about the set design and props
The GM’s were friendly enough, not particularly outgoing
Not particularly engaging or thematic

We weren’t expecting to love this room as much as we did, but it’s everything you’d want in an escape room! The set design, the puzzles that were quite satisfying and the perfect difficulty, and the overall ease and flow of the room was just… *french kiss* 🤌🏼

Unless there was an elevator I didn’t see, this location is up a large set of stairs. There is an auditory puzzle. The lighting is dim.
