The best escape room we've done so far. The decor, the story, and it really makes you use all your senses! Awesome Played by 2 adults and 2 kids ages 8–10

On Sabbath night, you and your friends are captured by the wicked Witches of the Order of Balthazar. Their goal is to sacrifice your group in order to perform a demonic ritual against the circle of Light: a group of good witches who have lived in the neighboring region for several generations. Now that you find yourself caught in a war between good and evil, your group of Wiccans must find a way out before these evil witches come back to end your peaceful existence. Today, if you unite your powers, you will be able to regain your freedom. The witch Hecate, goddess of the moon, will hopefully come to your aid!

The opening puzzle felt kind of bad to us (in a not-fun way) and overshadowed the rest of the game - we were left wondering how much we could trust the designer to do things we thought were reasonable. A little later, we had to intuit what a puzzle wanted us to do - it felt poorly signposted. A third puzzle late in the game relied on (IMHO) external knowledge, and would have been much improved by having a reference source in the game somewhere. Apart from the first area, the set felt fine and a clever use of space.

There is an extended period where the entire team will be crawling, and I'm not sure how this could be easily skipped.

There was one adult and three 11-year-old girls. The girls really impressed me, but the challenge was too tough to complete—another adult would have been a big help. The GM wasn’t quite on the ball and gave us clues about steps we’d already completed. On the other hand, the decor and the room layout were amazing—wow! If you don’t like enclosed spaces, forget about this place. This was our second time here—it’s a great spot that really gets you in the mood. During our first visit (maybe because it was early in the day), our GM was more energetic and friendly, but hey, that happens.

Sos Aventures proves it can hold its own against the best. The theme and atmosphere are executed flawlessly. The puzzles are truly original. I highly recommend it.

A stunning, spacious room with a variety of puzzles. We were brilliantly transported into the world of witches! There’s a lot to do in this room, so you have to use your time efficiently. It’s not an easy room, but it’s very satisfying when you solve it. We played with four players and it was perfect! 👌 The decor was impeccable, and so was the staff!

The setting was minimalist but well executed. We were supposed to communicate with our “witch ally” (GM) via text message, but unfortunately, the replies took a long time to arrive, and on a few occasions we noticed that the responses were copy-pasted. We even had to send a message to the “witch” letting her know we’d found the requested item since nothing was happening, so we weren’t sure if we’d finished the scenario. It’s also worth noting that two puzzles are located in a rather narrow corridor where you have to crawl on all fours, which made the game slightly more difficult for two of us who had knee injuries at the time we played the room. I should point out, however, that the warning was on the website and that we simply missed it when we booked 😉 All in all, a great room, energetic staff, and great puzzles. Fun guaranteed!!

It was okay. The game is stopping sometime because of the lack of attention of the GM.
Except for the first room. It was very confusing.
The GM was not really attentive. We have opened something an when we had to go back get the stuff, the door has been closed (the GM though that we had finished?!). The way to communicate at SOS Aventure is with an iPod. The GM wasn’t fast enough to answer our questions.

The game os not an easy level. If you are with children, they might be able to find some solution.

You can call at SOS aventure for detail (I don’t want to spoil anything). But there is a part that is kind of physical.

Alright so I have a love/hate relationship with Wicca (and a couple of SOS Aventure’s games). The entire game fits in a small space, but they did such a wonderful job building rooms on different levels and making such great decors and a great atmosphere overall. The storyline is good and well integrated throughout the game, but some puzzles just didn’t seemed right to me. I wish I’d loved this game more than I do right now but that, mixed with some bugs and a bad experience with our gm made my experience less great than what the game should deserves.
