The year 1969 - Alfred Bervoets, a controversial small-town professor, was best known for his research into the Mayan civilization, more specifically the infamous "Golden Mask". However, his findings were repeatedly rejected by his peers. To prove otherwise, he was determined to build a time machine. Legend tells us that he succeeded because since then every trace of him has been missing. But before he disappeared, he left a trail of his investigation.
