When Sorina, better known as 'The Oracle', and one of the eccentrics on the itinerant freak show 'Winston Wexler's Spectacle of Human Oddities', returns to the big top after an afternoon off, she feels a strange atmosphere in the air. A dark spiritual cloud that severely hinders her clairvoyance and seems to squeeze the air from her lungs. When she rejoins her fellow freaks, it becomes really clear what's going on: Someone has lost themselves in a fit of all-consuming rage and has done something terrible. Winston Wexler, the owner of the Freakshow, who took each of them under his wing when the rest of the world rejected them, was brutally murdered. Sorina will have to push herself to the limit of her supernatural powers to unmask the culprit.
