Two men are talking in the pub. They come up with a plan to make a quick buck. The Heineken kidnapping seems a 'beautiful' example, only they will not kidnap people, but they want to plot an art theft with which they will possibly steal the most famous paintings in the Netherlands. The canvases hang in the well-secured Kröller-Müller museum. They decide to post and find out how the guards are routed. They meticulously investigate how the alarm system works and look for weak spots in the security. During discussions in the Kröller-Müller museum it was clear that it was known that one window was not properly secured. This was discussed several times with the guards and the thieves did not miss this. The time has come on Monday evening, December 12, 1988 at a quarter to nine in the evening. The thieves strike and steal three world-famous paintings by Vincent van Gogh. The Loom with the weaver, the Potato Eaters and the Sunflowers. Two guards are present at the time of the theft. The alarm is detected immediately. The second guard is informed via the walkie-talkie. He is then on his round. He also calls the police after 1.5 minutes, who are on location after 7 minutes. The thieves have already made off with the three paintings and the only clue is that the car with which the theft was committed has French registration plates. Can you find the paintings by means of assignments, puzzles and secret hatches?
