Among all the fabulous treasure that was hidden in the burial chamber of Pharaoh Tut-ank-Amón, his funerary mask made of beaten gold with turquoise and glass paste is certainly the best known. When it appears completely broken on the floor of the room that guards it in the Cairo Museum, something makes you suspect that inside it was hiding something much more valuable than the gold and precious stones with which it was made.
