Dr Williams' father discovered 'The core of emotion', a formula to neutralize people's negative emotions and achieve their well-being. He designed 'The Disaster', a machine that could automatically apply this formula to people. However, there were many interests in destroying it. The Dominion Laboratories facility was raided and Dr. Williams Sr. was killed during the raid, leaving clues for his son to find the blueprints for the machine and the emotion core.
