Fast forward to the future. Year: 2084. The past decades have been devastating on humanity, and the only thing that’s survived is an AI company called Invisicom. Recognizing that humans could never be trusted to govern themselves, Inviscom created a shiny new world and evolved to become THE superpower. Now Invisicom controls EVERYTHING. The good news is that everyone is happy. The bad news is that you don’t have a choice about it. In this new world, happiness is mandatory. Your group of Resistors believe the world shouldn’t be brainwashed by a central computer. It’s rumored that the Mother Computer herself lies in one of the “Happiness Testing Facilities” where the unhappy folks are sent. The only way to gain access is to subject yourself to the exams and risk being permanently deleted if you fail. Can you pass Invisicom’s “happiness exams” and figure out a way to crash Mother Computer’s system? Whatever you do, remember happiness is mandatory…Mother Computer has her eye on you…

TLDR: This escape room I’d say is above average, but some confusing puzzles, and a lacking atmosphere keeps this from truly being an amazing experience. The Good: The puzzle is where this room shine. There were a few Pezold that I thought were fun and unique, and definitely made it fun to play. I also enjoyed the fair amount of cooperative puzzles that forced the room to work together making it a great room for team building. The storyline was actually pretty good. A lot of escape room rooms skip the storyline and just do some puzzles, but I appreciate the effort to make a good story with a twist at the end The bad: Two of the puzzles felt kind of cheap on what the answer was supposed to be, and while a few of the puzzles were pretty cool and unique, there was only one thing that really stood out as a wow factor during this room, but that’s it. The decoration and atmosphere of the room was all right, I’ve definitely seen worse, but I feel like they could’ve done better as some of the props and lighting seemed a little cheap. (But let’s be real, with this in Philly. They probably need to make them cheap with how much people are messing them up)

Yet another stellar room from Olde City Escapes! We had a glitch with our booking but they were so nice and patient while we sorted it out. The room was incredible and we were so happy to have the chance to do it while in town. Definitely in our top 10 games of all time. Wouldn't recommend for a group larger than 4.

Go do this room. It’s very different from their other ones, it stands out in the growing field of computer AI rooms of the future genre. Just a breath of fresh air. And remember: KEEP SMILING!
Nice, wonderful flow. Puzzles made sense. Easy go from one to another.
Really cool. Definitely a “In the future” vibe which was such a stark contrast to their “Quest for Freedom” Revolutionary War room.
Very welcoming

Not all future AI rooms are great. This one was. The unique puzzles, the storyline, definitely a must-do.
Very interesting! In the year 2084, our emotions are controlled and we are only allowed to experience happiness. Time to rebel!

It’s a little difficult to traverse between the two rooms & there are sound & color clues.

I loved the neon lights. The overall space could be considered small for more than 3 but with only 3 people, harder to solve too. The puzzles are reasonably cohesive but naturally different enough from each other. There is only so much space they can work with in this facility. So that is a factor too. But it is convenient within the city too.

A polished game - really fun, funny and memorable. I’ve never played a game quite like it. A new favorite - highly recommended!
Puzzles were well signposted, humorous and fun. Some puzzles I hadn’t seen before. Played solo and made it through with a few of nudges
Great vibe extended throughout the experience. Set was … retro 80s future (?). I’ve been trying to think of another room like it and haven’t come up with one. It was humorous and joyful with lots of sci-fi / other references.
Made it easy to play as a solo player

Fun puzzles and a unique vibe
There wasn’t much narrative during the game but puzzles were well integrated and on theme - and led to a goal

Got out as a solo player - but think I also clicked with the types of puzzles in the room.

We didn't have any expectations coming into this room, so we were pleasantly surprised. The theme was clever, and the puzzles were immersive. The GM was very attentive as well. There was an ambiguous puzzle that we didn't love, but overall a good experience.
