Light-hearted, nostalgic, and playful, Playground is a favorite of both first-timers and enthusiasts. Your game will start in a classroom where youβll have to finish all of your assignments before the end of the day, or you can forget about summer break. And these assignments are unlike anything you actually encountered in school. Playground was designed for up to 12 players and is an epic team building experience.

I'll start off by saying I made the mistake of thinking I could do this with 2 people, so we went early in the morning with just me and my 8 year old son. In terms of difficulty everything was pretty low, as there were a lot of puzzles focused on counting things or busy work (e.g. a crossword). However, the sheer amount of puzzles means you'll probably need at least 3-4 people to finish this room. There were also a couple of dexterity puzzles sprinkled in which I'm usually not a fan of, but they were on theme for this room and meshed well, so I didn't mind them. I'm not a huge fan of counting puzzles which one of the later ones was, and that's the only thing I didn't really like about this room. Otherwise, theme was on point and we ultimately had fun. GMs are also great at this location. We ended up getting a 5 minute extension because it wasn't busy, and managed to escape at 1:04:57 with only 3 seconds to spare. Ultimately, I think I can still recommend this, especially for larger groups and as a first escape room experience.
A lot of great wow moments, but a lot of busy work and counting type puzzles. This is a light thumbs down, because nothing was bad, but the puzzles were less about thinking and more about searching and counting.
Great atmosphere, very playful and fun and on theme
Staff at the escape game is always great
High tech
Lots of cool high tech puzzles, with a few locks here and there.

This was a pretty fun room. The hints to the puzzles were good, but there was a ton of them. This room is designed for a larger group. We had around 10 in our group and there was something for everyone to do. I would recommend at least 4 players for this game. But it was definitely well put together.

LOVE this game. So many puzzles, such a fantastic payoff at the end- no notes. so much fun. We played with 6 people, I would say thatβs the max you should play with so that everyone still gets the full effect. An experienced group of 4 could do this too!

This room was fun but boy did we have to think back to the 5th grade a couple of times LOL. We honestly had some good laughs in this room.

Okay...so, Playground. Here's the deal with this, TEG advertises this game as being for twelve people; it's not. It is touted as TEG's easiest game, which is true....kinda. The game is built on busy work, so the way they designed the game for "large groups" is that it consists of a million different little things to do, as well as some stuff that just takes way longer than it needs too, so your group will finish all of the little stuff within a couple minutes and then just stand there and stare at the one person doing the really long thing until they finish and you can move to the next part. So the game has this really weird balancing issue where having a large group still ends up with a bunch of people standing around with nothing to do, while a small group means the game becomes nigh impossible because theres way too much shit to do. The puzzle design goes from average to poor, again with some just requiring way too much time. The game is designed around spectical, so the poor puzzle design is hidden behind the couple of "wow" moments with the special effects, hoping that those are the moments your remember, and not the 20 minutes you spent digging through books to try amd complete a crossword puzzle. This is probably fine for first time and casually escape room players and they are not as particular about puzzle design or story telling, and they just want to see something cool or interesting, which i guess this game will give them just that at certain points. It's cute, and works if your kid wants to have his birthday at an escape room, but if you're walking into TEG, there are four other, significantly better options that you can choose from rather than this.

Absolutely love this room. I went there with my bf, and we were so busy running around(I was sweating lol). I recommend bringing more than 2 people, lol. There were so many interesting elements, and everything was adorable. Both kids and adults will enjoy it! It's not very linear, so everyone can work on something different. The Escape Game is really good at hiding pieces here and there, lol.

It depends on how many ppl in your group. For 2, you better sprint.

Very fun, family-friendly room. The room is not private, so there were two players with our group, but they were a great addition.

An absolute blast, so much fun, despite a few frustrating and broken puzzles. We did the room with 3 people and, despite us all being seasoned enthusiasts, that was probably one less than needed to really do the room well - because we failed! A few things were broken in the room (see below). There were 2 or 3 puzzles that gave us that "oh, come on!" type of response (I'm looking at you, "Art" Puzzle). A couple red herrings. A couple non-sensical connections that could be dramatically improved with some simple design tweaks. The intro video for this room is maybe the best we've ever seen. The story setup is AMAZING, although it seems like the plot got lost for the rest of the room. Flaws aside, this room was still an absolute blast. One of the more fun rooms I've done. Hilarious kid-like fun.
MOSTLY good. A few "oh, come on" puzzle moments. Got plain stuck at a couple points (as seasoned ER enthusiasts). A couple broken set pieces made the experience more challenging.
Phenomenal. Mostly physical, very little tech.

The theming is what takes the cake here. "Role-call" was hilarious.
One of the best opening videos and story setups we've ever seen. Seems like the story got lost for the rest of the room though.

Extremely difficult, mostly because of the sheer quantity of puzzles. I'm sure this would be helped with a larger group.

We did it with 3 and for once I actually felt like we didn't have enough people to really do the room well. There is so much to do I'd suggest 4 minimum, with the sweet spot being 4-8.

Fun interactive escape for kids. Lots of puzzles. We had a large group and surprisingly wasnβt as crowded as I thought it would be.
