Early escape room days, they just put in a ton of puzzles. Even with 12 people, there was no reasonable way to solve all the myriad of jumbled puzzles to escape. Fortunately escape rooms have come a long way since then in refining their craft.
Gameplay
Room was filled with sudokus and word puzzles, but many of them had clues hidden in the next room, so you'd spend easily 30+ minutes working on solving one puzzle to find out that you were missing parts of it.
