September 1943, western part of the North Sea, 5:45 a.m. loud wailing of an alarm siren awakens the crew of the submarine U-184 belonging to the German submarine fleet. The ship's captain, Herman Schulz, gives the order. The first diagnosis is not very optimistic, the ship was struck by a 27-inch self-propelled torpedo.
