The theming and execution of this room is on point. My partner and I had a blast running all over this one. While it is a bit large for two players we were able to get the job done with time to spare! This is a dexterity heavy room which led to lots of fun moments. I really enjoyed the variety of puzzle types in this experience. Worth the price of admission!

My favorite Escape Game room so far! LOVED the theming—super unique and tied well into a fun story. The puzzles weren’t too hard, but they were lots of fun and kept us laughing with excitement all the way through!
Super fun, nonlinear room with an easy way to check your progress

The Playground escape room at Escape Game in Grapevine Mills Mall is an absolute blast! From the moment we stepped into the room, we were immersed in a fun, nostalgic environment that took us back to our school days. The room is creatively designed with clever puzzles that challenge your mind in the best possible way. The mix of physical tasks and brainteasers kept our entire group engaged, and it was clear a lot of thought went into making each task unique and enjoyable. What really stood out to us was how family-friendly and accessible the experience is. Whether you’re a seasoned escape room enthusiast or a first-timer, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed to succeed without giving too much away. We finished the room with just a few minutes to spare, and the sense of accomplishment was fantastic. It’s the perfect activity for a group of friends, a family outing, or even team-building. If you’re looking for a fun, challenging, and memorable escape room experience, I highly recommend trying the Playground at Escape Game Grapevine. We can’t wait to go back and try another room!

The Playground is a joy, but it’s not all fun and games! With two experienced players, this was a huge challenge, but we made it! Your digital report card on the wall does an exceptional job of letting you know your progress; honestly, it might be the best way I’ve ever seen a room give feedback about where you’re at, simple though it may be. The puzzles themselves ask you to engage in a variety of novel physical interactions while making some larger connections with objects in your environment. You feel like a kid for lots of the interesting ways you have to look at the world. The Escape Game is likely the best escape room franchise, and this room is a shining example.

😀This game was fun. Defiantly need more than 2 people with the amount of puzzles. Lots of puzzles I haven’t done before.
Fun, mentally stimulating
Props and set design were a 10 in parts and a 6 in parts.
Great. Emmy was our Game Host and she was amassing. She remembered us from two years ago.

There are lots of puzzles and they all have several parts. We normally play with 2 but another group of two asked to join us. Glad they did. The amount of thought that goes into each puzzle was more than two people could handle.

At the mall go to Entry 6 and then take hall to the left. Make sure you go to restroom before coming as the closest is at the food court.

We played with another group and it made the experience super weird. The only thing I don’t like about The escape game is the non private rooms. There’s A LOT to go through here so it’s important to play with >5 ppl. I think I enjoyed the other rooms better.
