Accessibility notes: - color changing lights - stair between rooms, so wheelchair users need to take an alternative route which is doable, and staff was happy to help - color based puzzle
The atmosphere was pretty great! Accessibility notes: - color changing lights for one puzzle - color based puzzles - a step between rooms, will need to go an alternative route for a wheelchair (but doable!)

Fun theme. the GM was great. The puzzles are basic. The ending was anticlimactic.

This room was decent. We got stuck on a puzzle and had to ask for help but didnβt get help for about 7 minutes. You can see this game from the outside which is cool. I would recommend this room.

This room is very clearly inspired by Harry Potter but doesn't quite nail it. I dislike multi-step cyphers for the sake of it and without any reason for them other than to make a puzzle more difficult. The ending of this room also fell flat. It should have been cool but the details around the room to reflect the ending just weren't obvious or noticeable enough. There are some minor tweaks they could have made to hit the mark better, which would have left a better impression of the room on me. Nothing in this room felt particularly special. One thing that made me feel extremely miffed is the fact that the location is on a main road and Grim Stacks includes windows that you can see through on both sides. This meant that we could see random passerbys and that random people on the street could see into the room and watch us solve puzzles or look extremely lost without much obstruction at all. This both ruins the immersion and causes distractions.
GM was nice but had a tendency to either give us a hint preemptively, right as we solved something, or too late (after something was solved), causing confusion amongst my group. He realized this an apologized for it after.

Absolutely loved this room!! Every puzzle was so fun and clever. The ending was so awesome and unexpected but it was such a good way to end a room!

The room was good. I do like magic themed rooms. Sets were great. One particular puzzle I felt wasnβt fair. (An obscure solution) but other than that well done.
The game flowed well.
The set was well designed and immersive. Good theme.
The staff was great.

Soloβd this room! The bookshop with the window was super cute. Itβs the only escape room Iβve been in where thereβs a window to the outside, but it fits so well. It would be cool if they utilized that in one of the puzzles but thatβs just my out of the box brain thinking! It felt like a bookshop straight out of Harry Potter or something.
