This is a true story. The Sunshine, left San Francisco Bay in October 1875, on a sunny day skippered by Captain George Bennett. The ship was loaded with 25 passengers and $10,000 in gold, packed in kegs. For over a month, nothing was heard from this brand new schooner or its crew until it was spotted upside down washed ashore. Mystery surrounds this ship, of what happened to the crew and the gold on this calm day. Fowl play is suspected because even if the ship managed to sink on its own, there is not reason that the gold would be gone from he hull of the ship. Typically valuables are locked up and would remain in the ship even if it capsized. It has been suggested that perhaps the crew stole the gold, sailed off in the rowboats and left the ship headed to rocks, to perish as they made off the with the riches. Rumors circle around this mystery and we just caught up with one of them. We managed to catch up to a ship that was rumored to be in the area of where The Sunshine might have capsized. We know the captain just went to check on the crew so we are going to sneak in and search his quarters. Quick though, he will be back in an hour.

Fairly new operation. Owner and operators were friendly and helpful. This room was completed with 2 newbies (first room ever) on double date night. Had a new type puzzle I haven’t seen before which was a fun surprise. The room had a nice setup and flowed well. We used 3 clues but they do not limit clues - if you want help, just ask.
