The Wisp In The Wild Wood

I don’t even know where to begin with this room. Please take my advice and SAVE YOUR MONEY. There is absolutely no reason to play here, honestly. First of all, the owner told us he has NEVER played an escape room. THE OWNER. He designs the rooms but has never played one. This is a red flag. The room was FULL of purposeful red herrings and numbers/colors/letters meant to throw you off. The owner told us he leaves some elements/clues of puzzles from prior games when he switches out the room for a new theme. What!?!!? This was wild to us. The set quality was also so so low. In the “woods” room, there was a table, bookshelves, fluorescent office lighting, and a couple of faux Party City leaves stapled to the wall. There were clues handwritten in sharpie all over the place, things hot glued that were falling off or apart, and puzzles that had absolutely no relation to the theme. Not to mention the clue mechanism is a walkie-talkie, which is never a good sign.
