This was the first escape room I ever tried, and I found it quite challenging—I didn’t manage to escape. We didn’t ask for hints until we were already falling behind, which contributed to our difficulty. I wouldn’t recommend this room for first-timers, but for more experienced escape artists, it’s very well designed and features unique puzzles. Just be prepared for a real challenge!

A very, very fun and high-quality room! There was one puzzle we got COMPLETELY stuck on (felt like there should have been more in-room clues for it), but our game master was amazing and helped us through it. I’d highly recommend it for team of 4+ (we played with 2). Great set design!

I’m obsessed with escape rooms so it’s no surprise that the escape game in century city invited me to play the depths for their grand opening. I had to assemble an all-star crew of experts and newbies. Before starting I asked are we going to escape and who will be the weakest link. For a video review, check out our recap: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6hWSpUyUl3/?igsh=MTVjbDllM3V3N3JuNA== Now I thought this room would be easy because I’ve played and escaped 6 of their other games such as prison break (their hardest) and timeliner (which has a similar feel). But this room challenged us. The escape game is known for their technology and immersive sets. The puzzles were innovative and there were some parts where this crew struggled. I’m glad the ship did not sink. There were some really fun reveals but I won’t give everything away because I want you to play! Fun room. We did Not escape (didn’t use hints until too late lol). First room is tight and it was just 3 of us. Would not reccomend for a large group.

Pretty fun room on the easier side. This is in a mall and is a PUBLIC GAME so you might get paired with strangers. It’s very possible because it’s in the mall and people pop in We were lucky to get paired with a family of four who are experienced escape room players. We got along well and cruised through the room with no hints On the easier side if you know what you’re doing. It allows 8 people which is absolute overkill. I would recommend a group of 4 as the perfect amount

One puzzle was not working and they skipped it totally. We felt we spent a lot of time trying for that specific puzzle to observe it and we found out that we don’t need to do it anymore because it was not working. I don’t like when you spent money and some puzzles are not working.

Ready to be in an actual submarine? No? Well this is a good start for you! A very immersive room with great set-design. Puzzles are overall on the simpler side with a fun surprise at the end! Would recommend for first-timers and experienced folks if you're trying to complete all the Escape Game rooms like we are. Lots of fun references in this room and a thematic experience that is memorable. Some hi-tech and some novel mechanical features! Would recommend 4 for this room!

The storyline was captivating and added an intriguing element to the escape room. We found ourselves in a submarine research station, tasked with uncovering the existence of a legendary sea monster. The narrative created a sense of urgency and suspense. They even have a backstory to the characters in their videos. The puzzles ranged from physical to technical. My group particularly liked the puzzle at the end that required the coordination of the whole team. The only minor drawback is one puzzle that did not quite make sense - it was not the most intuitive. With Escape Game, we were placed in a group of four with some random strangers. However, our communication went well and the game master was attentive. I would recommend at least four people for this room.

I played this game solo, and it was A LOT of work and a lot of fun! The usage of video throughout was delightful and immersive. Puzzles and props varied wildly throughout the experience, utilizing some classic tropes and some inventive interactions. The plot was thin but enjoyable, and the puzzles were very engaging. As an enthusiast, this room was doable solo, but at least one more person would have helpful, especially for the final couple puzzles that required me to run around like a madman! Staff couldn’t have been nicer; they gave me a free pin and home game for me entertaining them. :)
