You are world-renowned Detective Hercule Poirot, aboard the famous Orient Express. You have just solved the murder of Mr Ratchet, the man found stabbed to death in his cabin after being proved guilty of abducting and killing a young child - Daisy Armstrong - the daughter of a WW1 hero. However, just as you are preparing to deliver your verdict, new evidence reveals one of the passengers aboard the train has a much more deadly plan. One of the suspects is determined to put the entire tragedy behind them, and is involved in a chilling plot to end the lives of everyone on the train. Critical elements of the trainβs brake system have been secretly removed and the Orient Express is gently gathering speed as it descends the most treacherous part of the mountainous route. On its current projection, the train will derail at great speed on the sharp curve atop the towering Simplon Viaduct in precisely 60 minutes. Your objective is simple - find the potential killer and repair the brake lines to stop the train. Failure means certain death for all, while success means solving the most famous crime in history, and saving everyone aboard. Solve the riddles and puzzles, gather the evidence and catch the murderer before itβs too late! Do you have what it takes to save all the lives on-board? Time is of the essence!

Did not complete the room the first try but will be back to try it again and will beat it in the next time. The room is designed well and flows well with the storyline. Look forward to playing it again.

This room decor definitely had you in the vibe of the storyline and the puzzles were manageable. The only thing j didn't like was that you had to be so precise with placement on a few puzzles that if you didn't have then in a very specific spot nothing would happen. I fully believe that we would have escaped if that wasn't the fact.

every room we have done at escapology has basically been the same gameplay, with the same layout. thereβs always a few puzzles that they have to walk you through because theyβre just it quality and confusing. i always say you can tell the difference between escape companies that do it for the money vs companies that do it because itβs their passion, and itβs evident that escapology, all locations, are for the money. weβve done a few rooms because the storylines sound fun, but weβre always left disappointed. officially wonβt be returning.

We went on the opening night for this room and were unfortunately unable to get clues because staff were (understandably) very busy. Iβm sure others will be able to escape, as we were very close even with little help!
