The room was okay. The staff wasn’t helpful at all. We had to ask for a clue at one point and the clue didn’t help us at all and didn’t make sense. A lot of the tech was outdated. The room had seen a lot of people. We still made it a great time but I wouldn’t go back to this place.

There are more details in my review breakdown, but essentially this could be a decent room if it was better maintained and had more thoughtful signposting to lead players along. A lot of things that frustrated us were based on faded paint, unclear cause-and-effect, way too dim lighting, broken mechanics, broken props, unintelligible audio clues, uninterested GMs, etc. Overall one gets the sense this room has seen better days.
The flow was poor. On multiple occasions we did not recognize when we’d done something that caused a box to open somewhere else. We also had several items at the end we didn’t think we’d used for their intended purpose when apparently we had.
The atmosphere was good but things were too worn down, so many items were hard to read. Repainting needed. Also, too many ambient sounds made it hard to hear important clues.
One staff member was basically fine, if let’s say unenthusiastic, and another came into the room when we were asking for a hint and scolded us for not speaking clearly. Ironically the hint we needed was that an audio clue was unintelligible, even after playing it a half-dozen times. She told us we just didn’t need to know it anyway. Cool.

Though we failed to escape, if the room hadn’t been worn down and, in places, totally broken, I think we’d have solved it.
