Simon Blum is angry. The gallery owner has done it again. He invited only the elite to the opening of the exhibition: People with pockets full of money, without any clue what his art is about. Simon Blum wants to make art for everyone, not for the filthy rich snobs. His works should go out and be seen by the world, not rot in a musty basement until its value increases. Every artist, from Michelangelo to Pollock, has wrestled with the question of how to sell his art and remain true to his artistic spirit. Simon was no different. Now he had enough, he no longer wants to have his iguanas exhibited in a gallery. Iguanas are his main motif. And he has a very special relationship with his iguanas. Sometimes, he even talks to them. Inspired by Banksy’s street art, he will place his works in the alleys of Bellinzona. He will add some clues how to find the art pieces. But not too easy clues. It will rather be a challenge to find them all.
