Joe is awesome and made the experience very enjoyable.

Game design had good flow and some moderate difficulty, the kids had fun. Joe was exceptionally passionate about his room design and made the game fun for us. Lots of distractions in this room

The owner, designer and game master of this room is the most enthusiastic escperoom lover I've ever met. He brings a level of excitement and energy to the game that is hard to find elsewhere. The room itself is well-designed, with many different puzzles of many different kinds of challenges that leaves you stretching different muscles in your brain for the full 60 minutes of the experience. All the puzzles are tied very well to the rooms theme, keeping you locked into the story of the room. While the room may not be quite as sophisticated, or dialed in to production value of props and puzzle pieces, it certainly packs some of the best-quality bang-for-buck when it comes to your time and money spent. Highly recommend this room!

I don’t know what other reviewers are talking about. Joe is seriously incredible. Our family and kids had an amazing time and the puzzles were some of the best I’ve experienced. A must do for anyone in the area and for any lovers of puzzles.

The owner is a really fun guy we had a great time it's a pretty challenging room

The whole thing seemed not legit. There was no waiver to sign. The puzzles were unclear or left to broad interpretation which the owner came in to solve more than once. It all seemed kinda just thrown together. Not to mention the owner was talking to us way too much. We started the room 20 mins late and then he kept talking to us for 15 mins after . Do not recommend

This is a small business owned by the GM and his wife. He is super interactive and engaging, despite small mechanical mishaps he is quick to assist and encouraging. The room itself lets you slip away into a different world. A good balance between locks and puzzles, not too complicated as long as you don't over think it. GM is a super cool guy, i highly recommend JAR escapes! This room keeps you immerse into its never ending storyline!

My wife and I have done a quite few escapes rooms in the past year and just found this one. It did not disappoint. The GM/owner makes this experience one of the best we’ve ever done. The puzzles and story are good but it’s the GM that makes this a great escape room. Can’t recommend this one enough!

If you are in the Sacramento area, this location is a gem. Highly recommend to come and try this room out. We were a team of 2 and the experience was amazing. Could be great with large groups as well. Definitely challenging but in the best way possible. Not high tech, more of a lock and key experience but the puzzles were all unique. The owner is fantastic and really understands what is needed to make a room great even without all the bells and whistles. Will definitely be returning when the room is redone.
