It's 2035 and the metaverse has invaded society with new virtual experiences. This has led to a dramatic increase in crimes committed in this new environment. Metacriminals have therefore invaded the prison system and the situation is now out of control. It has become necessary to ease the pressure in the prisons and to fill the labor shortage which has become worse than ever. The government has therefore launched a new project called R.E.S.E.T. (Rehabilitation, education and self-awareness of errors through technology). This project could allow some metacriminals to obtain their release if they can demonstrate that they are able to learn from their errors or mistakes. You, as metacriminals, have been chosen for this project. This is a unique chance for you to regain your freedom.

Very unique room with a twist that I'd never seen before. They do a great job of providing you with a device that stores info, or else this room would have gotten very frustrating, very fast. One audio puzzle was a little difficult for us to hear but the rest of the room flowed well, and was fun.

At least one person needs to crawl.
There is an audio puzzle that my husband and I both struggled with; luckily, one of the other people in the room could hear it well.

We weren't certain what to expect with this one. Our group of metacriminals started off a bit slow but quickly worked it out and completed our penance fairly quickly once we figured out what was happening. Thank goodness for the hint system they provide, definitely made what could get frustrating into a fun experience.

The bad rating is based on our mediocre experience with the GM. Other than that give it a try the puzzle are hard and the setting is impeccable. Click to see review breakdown.
The game does have a weird flow to it without spoiling anything this is where we didnβt really had the most fun. The puzzle are diverse some extremely easy to extremely hard. The idea on its own is never seen before.
The rooms were simplistic in a sci-fi way. Really modern and cool looking!
The GM was welcoming. The problem we stumbled upon was that we are both me and my boyfriend struggling with hearing and a specific puzzle at the beginning play with different music. We did ask several times (6+) if we could please skip this puzzle as we couldnβt hear properly the audio queue. We wasted roughly 30 minutes on this single puzzle unable to complete it while being refused to bypass or given extra hints to help us navigate around it. We were given the same rephrase hint over and over and really frustrated us. We knew what we had to do. It was simply physically unachievable for usβ¦

The feeling to it and the ambiance was amazing.
There isnβt really any long lasting story other than the opening.

Beside the audio situation the puzzle were well thought and fun!

Taking into account how our situation was handled by the GM I would like to say not at all accessible. Being rational that we were maybe unlucky I would say that pretty much anyone can play this game.

This room was unique and something Iβve never seen before. It was frustrating but not in a bad way, in a way that made sense for the game. We needed quite a few clues for our experience level.

An item was broken, we lost time there. But at some point the GM saw us in the camera and activated some other way what needed activated.

I'm a sucker for the genre in movies and the escape room did not disappoint. Possibly my favorite room I've played to date - nicely executed!

Project R.E.S.E.T. combined a truly unique mechanic with awesome environmental solving to deliver an experience I only dreamed about. The central theme was surprisingly poignant and thought provoking. Immersia used game design to tell a particular story with a message and they knocked it out of the park. I canβt specify, but it reminded me of my favorite puzzle game and experiencing that in real life was incredible.
The closest an escape room has come to emulating my favorite puzzle video game, with so many brilliant environmental puzzles and a clever central mechanic.
Minimalist, but well designed and with several cool effects.
Our host was incredible!

Super creative concept! We landed ourselves 3rd on the leaderboard and Iβll be forever kicking myself for the 2-3 minutes I spent not putting two and two together for one of the puzzles. Anyways, this was one of my favorite games at Immersia and esp bc the concept is so cool, itβs one of the few Iβd recommend if youβre headed to Montreal for some games!
