43 escape rooms
This was the second room we did at this location on our first Escape Room Road Trip from Alberta. While we enjoyed the first room at Escape the Falls, we did not enjoy this one as much. The room did have a neat back story as well as some cool and different puzzles. The problem was mainly just the sheer quantity of challenges in the room. A few also seemed like they were a bit of a stretch in terms of determining the answers. We had to get several hints, and out of 34 rooms we’ve done was the first we’ve ever failed to finish. We asked the GM and he said the room has about a 5% completion rate. At one point a significant puzzle in the room opened on its own, and we thought we had triggered it. We retrieved items from that space and were working through them when the GM came in and re-closed it. I think he thought we had somehow circumvented the flow of the room, but I suspect there’s some kind of crossover in wires somewhere. It’s a 60 minute room, but even if you had 80 minutes I would still call it an Expert room. We did the room with three people, and I think a few more might have helped a bit as well.
