Cute, cute, cute! I had no idea an escape room could be so adorably cute. This is a must-see for kids and adults. There were plenty of challenging clues so you wonβt be bored. I donβt want to give a single thing away because everyone should experience this room! You wonβt regret or forget it.

One of the best rooms I have done. Alina was so nice and a great GM. I would absolutely recommend this to families and anyone who loves detail in the rooms. We had two people and had 7 minutes left to finish. We canβt wait to come back and play the other rooms

These stories were among my favorites when I was a child. This room is a nearly scene-for-scene recreation of one of the stories in particular, but it draws on many. My only minor quibble is that you really only interact directly with Pooh. The other characters are mentioned, but are not really present. The game is also very easy (which is unsurprising). Go in and soak up the atmosphere, donβt try to speedrun this room. Highly recommended if you are fond of the stories. (If you are only familiar with the Disney version and not the original, this is based on the original.)
Yes
Only for the theme, but the theme is perfectly executed.
Easy
Very easy, but delightful.
Mechanical
A bit of both

The game is very easy but it is also nonlinear. If you bring a group of 4 and split up you will be done quickly and wonβt see everything. So for me this would be perfect for a couple to play together, or parent and child.
Not scary
Itβs the real Winnie-the-Pooh, not that crappy horror knockoff. Thereβs no twist, it is just the original A.A. Milne story, beautifully recreated.

Old enough to read the book, old enough to play this game.

So cute and surprisingly challenging!! Super cute touches in the room. Unique puzzles that I have not done in other rooms before. Story was amazing actually felt like you were in a story book. Our game master was an amazing narrator. A little confusing at first we didnβt realize the time started so we technically ran out of time but the GM gave us 5 extra mins to finish. Loved this room visiting from DC or else I would do all the other rooms they have to offer.

This theme was everything I needed from a storybook experience. Whimsical and family friendly- while still having moments that felt surprising and exciting!! This experience packs a punch and really pays homage to the books. A highlight from our trip with an excellent ending!

Full disclaimer: I am MindTrapβs biggest fan. I wear their branded hat at least once a week. When I meet people who live in Temecula or Murrieta my first question is - do you want an escape room recommendation? All this to say, I am a fangirl because MindTrap creates consistently immersive, fun, interesting, story driven experiences. Winnie the Pooh is a must-play. It is whimsical and truly feels like magic multiple times throughout the game. The puzzles are fun and rewarding. The narrative drive makes it feel like youβre living in a Winnie the Pooh story book. I know some people review games like this as potentially too easy and whine about βnot getting their full hourβ but I would much rather have a fun game with logical flow than a time-suck game meant to frustrate experienced players for the sake of better Morty reviews. Winnie the Pooh can be enjoyed by anyone of any experience level because itβs just a good escape room. Itβs fun. It will make you smile. Although high tech, the puzzles still give the classic feeling of an escape room. Itβs not an adventure of putting things where they go. Itβs solving puzzles within an immersive story. I recommend this game to you. Whoever you are. Oh bother, I love this game.
Flow was perfect. Like all MindTrap games, the puzzles make sense, move the story along, provide enough signposting, and are just FUN.
I didnβt want to leave the hundred acre wood.

The WOW moments of this room made some of us cry actual tears. Especially for lovers of Winnie the Pooh, this room is magic and the magic is truly special.
Fantastic story. Has a beginning, middle, and end with a great payoff. All of it is in-universe and narrative driven.

Perfect difficulty level. Experienced groups can take their time enjoying the magic and immersive scenery, while newer groups will find puzzles that challenge them enough to feel fulfilled.

Likely accessible to most people! However, unique flooring may be a challenge for some people using mobility aids or needing a flat surface.

Our group, which consisted of 2 adults and a 10 year old who have all done 20+ escape rooms, loved this room and not only because of the theme! We managed it with no hints and finished the story with a good 23 minutes to spare. Don't let our quick time fool you. Despite being an experience based off of the beloved Winnie the Pooh, this game had a surprisingly enjoyable number of tricky puzzles that kept us all entertained and busy. It was honestly a great mix of story and puzzle as you are essentially working your way through a narration without being outright guided to the answers. This was refreshingly different as it allowed us to puzzle out the next steps and rewarded us with the story as opposed to just giving us narrative instructions. This set up also made it possible to enjoy the amount of work and detail that went into the room and allowed our little one to solve multiple puzzles on her own while still leaving challenging ones around for the adults. Be warned, there is a part that involves a fair amount of reading so be prepared to either slowly read everything aloud or have a speed reader handy to solve the related puzzles. Overall, definitely recommend this room for both experienced and new players alike as it is quite enjoyable and will bring a smile to anyone who is even remotely familiar with Ol' Pooh Bear.
The puzzles and story flowed smoothly and were designed to be intuitive for most who are playing. The set up of the rooms and puzzles made it easy and enjoyable for even newer players so long while leaving a challenge or two for those who are a bit more experienced.
You are definitely brought into Pooh's world and are able to enjoy a beautifully designed set and props that fit well into the set and story. Even the big reveal at the end is designed to bring a smile to everyone's faces and make the experience immersive for those who are younger or really into the story.
Our GM, Jacob, was great to work with and was enthusiastic throughout our entire experience. Him and the rest of the staff at thus location made our day a memorable one.
Yes
I will admit I had not expected this room to be as delightful as it was! I had expected a very simple room aimed at children, but was instead greeted with an experience suitable for both children and adults to enjoy together. The fact that it is a story yet doesn't guide you throughout the entire thing was also awesome as it didn't give the impression of anyone holding your metaphorical hand and allowed the story to be a type of reward. Several puzzles were also very unique and one in particular had me laughing at the literalness of the clue.
This experience followed the story from start to finish and made it so you actually progressed through it with each puzzle and action. This, along with the ending, made it quite memorable and something that definitely brings smiles.
Medium
The vast majority of the puzzles were easy with only one or two requiring some clever thought. Keep in mind that there are two puzzles that require quite a bit of reading and it is best not to leave those to younger players or to those who are slower readers.
High tech
Most of the puzzles in this experience utilize sensors with many of the special effects making great use of the lights and sounds.
4
While there is plenty of space in most of the rooms, the number of puzzles makes this more friendly for smaller experienced groups of 3-4 or larger less experienced groups. Groups with kids would benefit from having at least 1 or 2 adults for the more complicated or reading heavy puzzles.
Not scary
Not at all scary but the experience does start out in an extremely dark room and there is a point where it gets stormy. Hold onto anyone who is afraid of the dark (it is brief) and cover the ears of any kiddos who are afraid of thunderstorms.
8
Very child friendly but ensure your kids are supervised as there are toys and props that can be damaged if you get too rough with them. I would suggest having kids that can read or at least having and adult who can read to them as a couple of the puzzles can be difficult for them without guidance.
No
The Pooh Bear we got at the start did seem a bit worn out but nothing was damaged or torn. Our only issue was with the veggie patch and a sensor or two not wanting to read unless twisted in place.
No
Though you do have an adorable plush "Pooh" with you at several points in the game.
Very
You will have to throw stuff and run around at different intervals. These moments are brief and very enjoyable but definitely require some cardio from the players.
I would not recommend this room to anyone with mobility issues, a reading impairment, auditory issues, or olfactory problems. The floor is mulch, making footing hard for those who are not stable, there is quite a bit of reading near the end, and a lot of the story is narrated to you between puzzles. Lastly, there is one puzzle where your sense of smell is very much required. For those with long-covid or other olfactory damage, this might be an issue so just ensure at least one person on the team can smell. Two out of our three team members could not due to a permanent loss of smell and it thoroughly amused us when we figured out why a certain puzzle stumped us.
