Such a fun game. All of the puzzles, especially in the second half of the game were so much fun. This company sure knows how to design a set. I loved it.

I liked the theme of the first half of the escape room better than the second half, but still a good time.

The first room was great. The second part…not so much. The final puzzle though was really a head scratcher. A red hearing placed in the design was neither clever or fun. The final solve both irritating and anticlimactic.

I really loved the first room in the one—super cool set, fun puzzles, very satisfying. The second room was a big shift that I personally didn’t enjoy as much, though I appreciated how it was designed and how it fit with the story.
First room especially was really cool
Ian was great!
Combo—first room more mechanical, second room more high tech

So this was my first in person experience with The Escape Game. Firstly let’s talk about the room. It was a very well decorated and themed room that did a solid job incorporating physical puzzles and technology together. The story was very “Jack Ryan” or “Call of Duty” so if that is your vibe you will have a good time. From a puzzle perspective the first half of the game felt more satisfying and classic, the second half felt more frantic and risky. In a lot of ways I appreciate that but not every risk lands. I also could tell at times two people may not be enough for this room. All and all I am impressed with the quality of this experience being for all intents and purposes, out of a box. Now for my new TEG footnote that will be copied and pasted into every room of theirs I do until proven differently, which I probably will do as many as Im able to because the quality is there. I hate how sterile everything felt from a customer relations perspective. The inability to have a private experience without paying an exorbitant amount is miserable for someone with social anxiety, and/or those that enjoy doing puzzles with friends. I understand the business model, more player slots filled, more money, but it sucks at an individual level. And over the course of our experience we were passed around between three different employees, which wasn’t great. I will note all three treated us well it just made the whole place feel impersonal.
