Loved this room and location. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Great ambiance when you enter (including being greeted by a friendly cat, Beans, who perfectly matches the aesthetic). The room has some really unique puzzles and set design. There’s also a LOT to do in it. Although my partner and I have done several escape rooms before, the combined novelty and sheer number of puzzles kept this room challenging. As a team of two, we found we needed to ask for more clues than usual to beat the clock (we narrowly escaped with just 23 seconds to spare). We typically try to avoid using clues, but thankfully our game master, Tuesday, did a fantastic job at providing us just enough that we could proceed through the game, while still allowing us to feel we worked to solve each puzzle ourselves. Overall, this was definitely one of our favorite escape rooms in LA.

Between the hype and the quality of other games in the area, this is a tough one to rate fairly. Is it fun? Definitely. However, as much as it polishes the Gen 1 tropes, it still falls victim to some of the them: a reliance on searching a as a gate, an lack of cohesive story, antiquated hunt system. It has great signposting, but the flow is a little stilted. I wish I could agree that it’s a true elevation of the classic format, but it’s still fun and charming; just don’t expect anything revelatory or groundbreaking.

First and foremost, absolutely loved this room. Imagine a first generation room (no glitchy high tech locks) but that’s more modern and bam- you have this room! I loved the design of the room and the game flow. Puzzles were challenging yet doable although we did need a few nudges to point us in the right direction. Would recommend this one as it was created by an enthusiast (who is also a great game master) and definitely provides! Also, unrelated to the game, but the lobby of this place is heaven for Tower of Terror fans with ride artwork!

This is one of my favorite rooms in Los Angeles. So quirky and silly, and fun, and just makes you laugh while still challenging you. The staff here are amazing, and it’s just a wonderful company. What a wonderful and unique design. I would totally play this again just to watch others have so much fun.

I loved this escape room! Such an amazing twist from traditional escape rooms reminiscent of an old cartoon show. Puzzles were unique and creative! :D Our game master, Tuesday, was phenomenal and accommodated to our party of 5 with an enjoyable experience.

Such a great love letter to old-school cartoons and comics and a fun room that pokes fun at the talented creators who draw them! Think Who Framed Roger Rabbit meets Cuphead! The room features plenty of ink and black-and-white cartoon-based puzzles. It’s mostly gen 1 style with lots of locks, but it’s manageable with stickers and labels that guide the unlocking process. We were particularly wowed as we went further into the world and were super impressed by the artistic techniques used to create a world of cartoons! Between the style, the hilarious humor, and the silver-screen style music, I imagined I was in an oldies cartoon, or at least Cuphead. There is so much to love about this murder mystery toon room! The owner and staff are super nice too! So if you’re looking for fun, and don’t have the heebie jeebies, get some jitter liquid and solve this toondunit?

This room is crafted with such care and creativity that you can’t help but smile through the whole thing. A classic multi-lock escape room from start to finish with a fun original theme. Puzzles are engaging and satisfying. The set design is thoughtful and immersive. And if you have the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tuesday, you’re in for a treat, because she is delightful.
