Permanently Closed - You must band together with your squad if you want to resist Vecna’s gruesome curse. Take on the scariest season of Stranger Things yet. Like Eleven, now’s your chance to stop him once and for all as you have the ultimate showdown in Vecna’s blood-red Mind Lair. Every ending has a beginning.

I’m not a Stranger Things fan, so I may not be the best judge, but this one was very forgettable to me. Especially considering it has one of the longest waits, this is one to skip. I will say the outside facade was very impressive and the screams they were projecting while we were waiting in line were chilling.

The main selling point in this maze, in my opinion, was the grand scale and recreation of certain key scenes from the series. Chrissy's demise in Eddie's trailer, the initial confrontation between Eleven and Vecna in the lab, the foreboding Creel house, and the final confrontation all benefitted from strong set design, acting, lighting, sound, and special effects. As a fan of Stranger Things, this caught my attention more than the scares, and it was great to walk through the world of the show. My only gripe: I didn't hear "Running Up That Hill" play at all!

We originally weren't planning on going through this house because wait times we're reaching nearly 180 minutes, however there was a brief period where the wait times were manageable. Same situation with TLOU, really cool effects, I just wish there was more. It was also SUPER LOUD! I would recommend bringing earplugs so you can still retain your hearing afterwards.
Spooky
Before we got into the inside line, they were playing old hair bands (a lot of metallica obv) and it was a vibe. Once getting closer to the house, it was really easy to get overstimulated with the loud sounds from the house, people talking, lights flashing, etc.

We didn't end up needing one, but normally a fast pass is a great idea!
Somewhat
There's no running or anything, just a lot of walking and standing around.

I’m a big stranger things fan but I was kind of disappointed not only was it not scary but no scene with Eddie shredding on the guitar

Man, they nailed it. But even by nailing it, stranger things isn’t scary, just creepy. But the actors are spot on matches, the scenes invoke great memories, and the costumes and sets are top notch. Very much an immersive experience and a great time.
