Very fun room! I like Treasure Island better, but this one was also very good. The entire premise of Ghost Stories is your team need to help free the spirits of the ghosts that are stuck in that attic. It was such a unique play experience in that there's multiple puzzles, but they don't make up one continuous story (if that makes sense). You do move on to the next puzzle ... so in that sense they are linear. I also appreciate that they provide you with quality flashlights because it's VERY DIM up there. π¬ Overall, very fun! Just be careful and watch we're you're going so you don't trip. ππ

I really enjoyed the storytelling of this room. The theme was done in a fun/spooky way, not a creepy/horror sort of way, which I enjoyed much more. The production quality of the set was top notch here and it was a fun atmosphere to experience the puzzles and story in. I would say this is an Easy room with not very difficult puzzles, but the other aspects mentioned above are done so well that it makes up for the lack of challenge. I also really appreciate that they can scale down the 20 ghost stories if your group is going slower, or let you experience all of them if you have the time. It makes it so the more experienced escape room enthusiasts are not punished by finishing a room too quickly and still paying full price for it. Iβve done all 3 of the currently offered rooms at Brain Games now and they are all fantastic in different ways. I would highly recommend doing all 3!

A really creative, interactive, and surprisingly whimsical room (given the theme of, you know, death). Our wonderful game master Daniel, who was also voice acting throughout, made this even better. On the easier side, but itβs less about βescapingβ and more about the individual pleasure behind each little episode in the room.

Ghost stories is an incredibly linear game. You are guided by a lost soul puppet, to help 20 ghosts resolve their conflicts on the mortal plane so they can head to the afterlife. This game teeters the line between a love and a like, the game is fun, but sooooo linear, and not all of the puzzles were quite my liking. Also, if youβre struggling you will not help out all those spirits, so this is another brain games room that rewards efficient puzzle solving.

This one is funβitβs more of a series of mini games than an escape room, but the story is really silly and fun. The final puzzle is so funny. My boyfriend and I had a really good time doing this one! The set design was sooooo cool and atmospheric. Not scary at all, just cute!

Twenty Ghosts is not as much of an βescape roomβ as it is a highly themed game of various independent tasks that are tied together by an overarching story line. My guess is there are a total of 20 possible games, and teams will accomplish as many as possible within the game time, before the game master moves on to the concluding event. Our GM was fantastic, playing and narrating the role wonderfully, and as a team of two, we got through maybe 15 or so of the games? All in all a really fun experience.
