Permanently Closed - At the end of the 18th century, Europe was going through a period of turbulent changes. State and church reforms were introduced, Europe began to connect with overseas, and the level of education and science developed like never before. Fundamental changes in society were accompanied by riots, uprisings and culminated in the Great French Revolution, which is seen as a turning point in European history. One of the main figures and movers of the time was Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de La Fayette , known as the hero of two continents.
