A clandestine investigation team has found clues that point to a terrifying truth: the director of the British School of Witchcraft and Wizardry possesses an object desecrated by the dark arts. It is a horcrux , of which both its nature and location are unknown. Those in charge of the investigation, the Blackwoods, are determined to find this object and reveal the horrible truth it contains; the dark past of the school principal.
