In 1999, 17-year-old Stephanie Baker went to her high school Winter formal and never returned. Her best friend, Tara, her boyfriend, Chase, and her sister, Rebecca, have no idea what happened to Stephanie. Did she run away from home? Or was something more sinister at play? To her family’s devastation, the case finally went cold after the investigation went on for months. Stephanie’s parents, defeated, have kept her room exactly as it was on that fateful night, but they are about to pack everything up for good. Her grandparents, however, are still desperate for answers. They have hired YOU and your team of private investigators to try one more time to figure out what the police couldn’t. What happened to Stephanie? You have one hour to search her room and uncover the truth behind this cold case. Can you do it?

This was my favorite room at this location of Trapped. Prison Break and Striking Gold were tied for close second. Room definitely took us back to the 90's. Interesting plot and twist at the end. Lots of locks but the puzzles to unlock the locks were fun and fit the theme. We were told this is their hardest room but the two of us knocked it out in 46 mins. It was actually our quickest room. I guess the puzzles just clicked for us. Our Game Master Grace did a great job.

The toy they used to send us hints was not broken but was very hard to understand. GM had to come over speaker to give us the hints.

From the moment you walk in, you will be transported back to the 90s—complete with 90s music playing in the background and a nostalgic bedroom scene with iconic movie posters. The attention to detail in the environment was incredible, setting the perfect vibe for the room. The gameplay was equally great, with clever puzzles that were both challenging and fun. It truly felt like we were part of a 90s time capsule. The GM was fantastic and helpful. I would recommend this room to anyone.

The game was well thought out and flowed well. The puzzles with one exception moved the story forward and didn’t create a bottleneck. We had fun.
