30 escape rooms
Went into this one hoping for a cool time travel theme. Walked out feeling like the room itself was kinda empty. Not terrible, not great. Just okay. We did escape, so that's something, but it didn't feel as satisfying as it should have. Puzzles were supposedly medium to hard. I'll take their word for it because for some reason I just couldn't grasp them. Not sure if it was me or the room. Probably a bit of both. Some things just didn't make sense to me. Like we'd try something and think we were on the right track and then nothing. Or we'd figure out part of a puzzle but the next step felt like a leap. We did manage to escape, so obviously we figured enough out. But it never really clicked the way it should. I spent more time confused than I did feeling like I was solving anything. Not a great feeling in an escape room. Maybe it was just one of those days where my brain wasn't clicking. But I also think some of the puzzle logic was a little off. Hard to tell. It's an okay room for 45 minutes. Nothing more, nothing less. We escaped, which is always nice, but I didn't walk out excited about it. If you're in the area and have 45 minutes to kill, sure, check it out. But don't go out of your way. I just wish there was more to this room. More atmosphere, more puzzles, more depth. Felt like a decent concept that needed another round of development.
