Hijinx Hotel is made up of multiple sets of 5 challenge rooms, each designed for between 2 and 6 players to work together to complete challenges and score points on the leaderboard. You will be assigned to a set of 5 random challenge rooms on arrival. Each room within a set is designed for 2-6 players, and your group must score as many points as possible within 4 minutes, before moving on to the next room within your allocated set.

Just to be clear, these aren't escape rooms. They have elements of escape rooms, but this is probably more catered for those that would never think they would enjoy escape rooms or think they are lame. The decor is really well done, and the theme is great including the staff. There are times where you have to wait with other people. It was loads of fun, and I would recommend this one to all types of people. Just be warned not to wear anything tight fitting, as depending on how competitive you are, you will likely break a sweat!

We had so much fun at Hijinx Hotel! If you're after an escape room, this isn't it, but if you love a good challenge and want to have some fun this is a great place to visit. It contains a series of challenges for you to complete in 4 minutes. It was definitely more physically demanding than we expected, so be prepared to move. We did it with just the 2 of us which was fine but you can score better with more people, 4 or 5 would probably be a good amount.
