155 escape rooms

This room was enjoyable but very similar to rooms that I’ve done in the past. Some of the puzzles felt a bit disjointed but were ultimately still effective.

Gameplay

Most of the puzzles were well done but they were somewhat basic. Some clues were used multiple times which is atypical of an escape room.

Atmosphere

The set was effective and immersive but nothing was mind blowing.

Customer service

Our game master Amaal was very kind and helpful!

Particularly interesting or different

No

I’ve seen similar themes multiple times before.

Story

The story was basic and a bit surface level but still effective.

Difficulty

Medium

None of the individual puzzles were super difficult. Sometimes it was difficult to know what to work on next.

Game tech

This room is not super high tech. There were a couple of technical elements but there are also a lot of physical locks.

Ideal number of players

3

2-4 players would be ideal for the space allotted (especially in the first room).

Scary

Spooky

There are 1-2 jump scares but there are no live actors in this room.

Minimum age

12

This room would be okay for anyone who can tolerate a spooky atmosphere and a couple of jump scares.

Was anything broken?

No

Live actors

No

Physically active

Not at all

No running, climbing, or crawling is required for this room.

Accessibility

There is a bit of a winding pathway in this room that might be difficult (but not impossible) to navigate with mobility restrictions. One puzzle utilized color and one puzzles utilized sound.

We had a really good experience overall. The room is newer so everything was functional and there were 1 or 2 puzzles we were really impressed with. This room theme can be challenging as the company is competing against a similar theme at a place like Netherworld, where they specialize in the scare factor. Was it good? Emphatically, yes. Was it a knock our socks off experience? Not particularly. But this company dues a really good job making it fun and fresh.

Pretty solid room, had some good parts and had a good time playing it, but a couple puzzles that were poorly fleshed out. It was brand new when we did it so it may get revisions.
