A great, challenging room with some atypical and unique puzzles. This is the 2nd room of 3 in the Devlin trilogy. I thought it was a bit of a stretch to tie this one to the overall story, but the tie in is technically there. I’m not much for the gorey horror scenes that are so common in escape rooms and the serial killer in a cabin in the woods is so overdone. However, I’ll admit that this one was better done than most of that category. There were several decorations in here that truly grossed me out, so it certainly accomplished what it was going for.

Honestly, yeah. I thought there were some unique and atypical puzzles in here. I really enjoyed feeling like I needed to use my brain as I played.
Story
I don’t enjoy the gorey/horror stories that feel so redundant and overdone in the escape room industry. But that being said, I appreciated that they tried to tie this into the Devlin trilogy overall story. The tie is a little weak… but they at least made the effort, which is always appreciated.

Yes, although they have 3 units in this same complex, so be sure to double check the address of the room you are playing. However, if you go to the wrong one, they have a map showing you where the correct room is, and it’ll only take you a minute to drive to the other one.

overall not bad. the atmosphere was perfect for the story, and there were lots of props that made this immersive. we didn’t love the puzzles, though. there is a dexterity puzzle that felt more like a time sink than anything, and i’m not sure that it added anything to the experience. there were also a couple of doors that did not make any sound or indication of being open once we solved the puzzle; the GM had to tell us to push the door open or, for the final door, they just let us out.

My biggest qualm with the escape room was that some of the clues seemed super random and out of nowhere. There wasn’t a logical flow that certain pieces connected a certain way. The GM was great and we overall had a good experience but the room felt thrown together.

We enjoyed this room and loved Joseph as our game master, who has hosted us several times before in the past. This room has some pretty cool working props that we weren’t expecting. I recommend checking this place out!

There was “strong language” in the room audio recordings, as well as a certain prop that is, let’s just say, NSFW. It might be possible for them to change these things for younger kids if you asked, as they were not necessary for the room just for flair haha.

The GM Harper was so great giving my daughter a chance to review the jump scares before we entered the room. The staff here was awesome and very fun. Enjoyed completing 4 rooms here in one day!

Did this room with a group of 6 total. We unfortunately did not get the first puzzle and couldn't ask for a hint for 10 mins, which was frustrating. We actually found this room quite hard, as we several times mistook clues for one puzzle that were meant for another. However we loved the variety of scenes, the size of the room, and the themes. I don’t know if they meant it to smell like a dead body in there but it did at times lol. The dexterity puzzle that most have complained about wasn’t bad for us. We will be back to try the other rooms! A bit pricey in my experience of approx 20 rooms

I forgot if there's an option for a live actor on this one. But this was a thrilling room! Spooky with the right amount of scary. I remember there was some technical difficulties at the end which ruined the experienced just a tiny bit. 🤏🏼 But we still had so much! And we still escaped! 😁
