Overall this room was one of my favorites! The theming and immersive atmosphere along with really unique puzzles made this experience worth the while. Looking forward to doing the other rooms at this venue!
Flow was pretty good, puzzles were linear. It was a lot of big things to do which scrambled my team a lot because we had to work together one on thing at a time.
Very immersive and well done theming.
GM’s were awesome and always there to answer questions and give hints when needed
Story was cool, definitely different than other asylum games I’ve done

Our second room of the night, and I enjoyed this one far more than Crisis at 1600. The atmosphere was great, the puzzles were a lot more creative and engaging. But the biggest drawback of this place as an overall was that the gamemasters were slower than molasses at getting ours hints to us, there was literally probably a gap of 5 minutes where we just stood there waving at the camera before one of them finally got on the speaker to help up. My biggest takeaway from this room: do not play it if you cannot handle atmospheric smoke. It was not listed on their website that there would be a smoke machine/fogger used inside this room, and as somebody who is allergic to the chemicals used inside these machines it was very upsetting that this was not disclosed. It was so thick and they used so much of it in the final room that I had to step outside because I was coughing so bad, not that it did much good as the hallway outside our room also had fake smoke seeping out into it. And by the time it cleared enough for us to make it back into the final room where we could actually see to solve the puzzles, we had wasted almost 10 mins on the clock.

My Boyfriend asked me to marry him here so I had a great time, but was fun we had a large group and it worked out.

This room begins very dim and dark, and my bat-blind eyes couldn’t figure out how to change that, so we were off to a slow fumbling start. But after finding a light source, things progressed relatively smoothly. Admittedly, themes about asylums and implications of human suffering aren’t my jam, but putting my lame personal sensitivities aside, the room was very well done and effective. Props were well chosen/well made, and each space was different from the next, and had some kind of story to tell, tying the whole experience together. There was a good scare which really got me off guard, but I actually loved how they did it and it was the perfect time for a little thrill to get the blood pumping and get us laughing. I really appreciated the commitment to the vision. Most puzzles progressed smoothly, with a few exceptions. Namely, it was one of the final puzzles that involved multiple layers of information, indicating an order of another string of numbers, indicating another set of other numbers, indicating ANOTHER set of numbers, all in hard-to-see areas…! As you can imagine, the limited visibility made communication difficult and resulted in a bit of scrabbling and redoing. But, when we’re toward the end of a timer, we do tend to get a little panicked! Just be ready to make connections, stay organized, and keep similar props together. I’m still more partial to their other room “The Caretaker”, which did a better job at keeping the mood fun-spooky (and away from sad-spooky), but overall “Asylum” was a well done room with great atmosphere.
I’m somewhere between 👍 and 👎 for gameplay. Puzzles were very on-theme and seemed to have characterization and story baked in, which I love. But the puzzles themselves were a bit tedious at times, which is a little more forgivable in a comfy environment, but less so in an unpleasant one.

Eep! Billed as their scariest room, I can attest that it definitely has some great chills and genuine frights, one that will especially catch you off guard. Atmosphere is serviceable but very effective. That said, it’s unfortunate that many of the puzzles end up being a little too disjointed and the overall flow is hampered by difficult to connect, leap-in-logic style scenarios. Some puzzles also tend to be artificially time consuming instead of really necessary. Most however are delightfully on theme, and the progression and descent into madness and terror is really effective when the flow finally gets going. When it works, it works really well. Overall, it’s worth checking out if you want to freak out your party. Scaredy pants will think this is really scary. I thought it was pretty good. Not the scariest I’ve done, but definitely one of genuinely scary ones. Puzzles could be a little better and less arduous, but it’s still a fun ride while it lasts.

One of the earlier escape rooms I’ve done but it’s still memorable. I’m a little bit of a scaredy cat and scream at jump scares so I thought it was scary but my boyfriend just laughed. Many different rooms and they’re all amazingly decorated- very immersive.

Just not a fun game overall. No wow factor hard to keep up with storyline. This is the second game I’ve played at this location. I most likely won’t be back unfortunately.
