After the 5 of us crushed Enchantment, we decided to break up 2 and 3 for this game, so that it lasted longer, especially after our GM told us Relic was even easier than enchantment. This room is actually fairly tough for 2 people, there’s a lot to collect and a lot to do, without it ever being super clear what goes where. I would argue this was tougher than enchantment but it might just be because of the player count discrepancy. The room features a good set, and some decent puzzles. As well as a very fun gimmick of appeasing the relic so it doesn’t eat your time away. All in all, a good room!

Puzzles were relatively creative, just not enough for an hour. You’d have to get stuck on each puzzle for it to fill the time. I like getting out of escape rooms quickly, but it just feels like a waste of money when it’s this fast. I think it’s just this chain in general. The other escape room we did here, enchanted or something, we finished in like 20 minutes. Not worth $45 or whatever the specific location charges
Easy
This was rated their hardest room and we escaped in 25 minutes with only 3 people.

I thought there were many unique elements and puzzles to this room. You have to be quick on your feet a few times during the escape which is fun! You use more of your senses than you'd expect which was an added element! I really enjoyed this one. Red door has some pretty solid rooms for being a chain business. I still don't get how they are all connected which is what one of the gamemasters said but, who cares, I've enjoyed most of them.

This was a lot of fun. I loved the obelisk getting angry. It was cute, and I've never seen that mechanic before. The thought behind it was delightful.

The obelisk extra puzzle was different and enjoyable.

This is probably the most accessible room we've ever done. No color puzzles. But there was a smell puzzle. So if you are missing your sense of smell, this will be hard.

This was very good for a 45min game. I was worried it would be a tourist trap location, but it definitely isn’t. Well done.

On top of standard puzzles, this game has a mechanic that was challenging/interesting that requires to drop everything to solve (though, unsure what the real penalty from failing was). Kind of like in ONI when everyone panics. Other puzzles were definitely themed well, but not too hard. A few required judgement between A or B, but not too difficult. Likely ideal for 2-3 at most
Mechanic with needing to address curses was novel
