The atmosphere of this room was pretty cool! Creepy and mysterious! The puzzles were fairly easy to solve, but the spooky atmosphere made it fun!

Overall, a solid, spooky room. Generic plot, but you start out in pitch black and have to manage the light throughout the game. It’s creepy, fun, and different. But unlike some other rooms, the darkness is an intentional part of the experience instead of just being poor lighting.
The biggest challenge of the room is managing your “resources”. Do not do this room if you’re afraid of the dark, but it’s the only room we’ve done that was so dark intensive (in an intentional way unlike rooms that are unnecessarily dark). Very different in that sense, but it was ultimately linear.
Light as a critical part of the room was very well done. The props were less ideal, but the teamwork required to manage the light definitely set the mood.
The team was great - they were super excited to have us, gave great warnings, and asked if we wanted request only or “suggested” hints.
Yes
It was very memorable for the need to generate your own light. Having done other rooms where it’s occasional, this one is more than that.
Honestly - typical serial killer plot. Catch him before he gets back to his lair and catches you. Fine, but not special.

We did the room with two players, but the need to generate your own light in certain spots would have made it easier with more. The room is big enough that you can fit even more than my recommendation of 4, but I do think that’s the sweet spot to make sure everyone stays engaged.
Scary
💩👖 if you’re afraid of the dark, but pretty chilling even if you aren’t.

In speaking with the GM - I think we actually broke something unintentionally. So upkeep may have been a problem since we use a two finger rule, but it was a background prop, not a puzzle. The puzzle pieces all functioned appropriately.

Somewhat
There was one part that required some crawling and reaching.
Vision could be a struggle given how intentionally dark the room is. There’s also one piece that requires some reaching and crawling that wouldn’t be possible with a full mobility impairment, but I guarantee the team would help work around that!
I won’t say yes or no. We had a hard time finding the location. It’s tucked away in a shopping center. But that may have been user error.

Dark, which makes the linear nature of the room even more important to follow. Open the flow up and update the deco and this could be a decent room.
The darkness hides three bad production value of this room
Despite the rooms, staff seems always happy to be there.

It wasn’t a bad room exactly, but was disappointing. Took us 20 minutes to escape and we weren’t even rushing. Linear game play and very easy puzzles. When we got to the end, we didn’t even realize it was over since it was so sudden. There are multiple rooms and they are decorated well- a little scary and dark but not too much so, there’s just not a lot to them in terms of puzzles.
