Unique puzzles, enthusiastic game masters, spooky but not too scary, fun vampire theme!
Flowed well but a couple things needed a bit of maintenance, but gamemaster helped make it a smooth experience despite that.

The set wasn’t bad and there were a couple of puzzles with a lot of potential. However, we didn’t always realize when we had completed a puzzle as it was not obvious that it had triggered something to open. I lucked into finding an item in a search puzzle when I wasn’t actively looking, but I can see this one being a potential problem for people. There was another puzzle that was so unintuitive that I don’t think our group would’ve stumbled into the solution if we had all day. It was the opposite of what we thought it would be and there was no signposting in the room that would lead you to think differently. We also had to be told that we had completed the room. That is never a good thing when you don’t know that you’re finished. All in all, I still had fun, the staff is nice, the set wasn’t bad and a couple of the puzzles were good. I wouldn’t suggest that enthusiasts go out of their way to play this one, but it will do well with all of the tourists.
Not too bad.

A few of the puzzles are not intuitive.

3-5 is ideal as the room is fairly linear and there are a couple of smaller spaces.

This room is not accessible for those with mobility issues as there are stairs and one room has uneven flooring.

All of Elevation’s games are very standard. The crypt is their weakest game in my opinion. It isn’t bad, but it’s very unintuitive which hurts its rating in my opinion. The set was about middle of the line. However it’s worth noting that they had loose floorboards in one sort for aesthetic reasons, but they were actual loose floorboards, very easy to accidentally remove. A lot of elevation’s puzzles are repetitive as well, every room had a mirror bounce puzzle, and this was the second one with a coffin puzzle, which got repetitive. Anyways, all in all, not too bad, not too good.

I'd rank this one last of their rooms. The hotel is best. Staff is nice and the atmosphere is good. They care about making sure you have a good time. This room had some puzzles not trigger fully for us which disrupted a bit. Some of the puzzles are not intuitive. One requires some strength which is unusual for most places because it shouldn't feel like you may break something to trigger an action. The concept is nice and the story is fun. One unique puzzle with water would have been awesome, if it worked properly for us. If you are in town, the other puzzles are better.
