Temporarily Closed - Just two more years—two more years left until the planet's water was depleted. The government launched a program called Operation: Poseidon in an effort to find a solution to the world's impending disaster. Doctor Valerie Frizzle was tasked with the world's greatest burden and forced to overcome it or face extinction. With the entirety of humanity resting on her shoulders, she and her team made a breakthrough with a synthetic hydration replacer they named HydroSynth. It not only provided the hydration needed but also kept people hydrated longer. A miracle the world needed, they began mass-producing and supplying it to every refugee camp. But the world’s celebrations quickly diminished as flu-like symptoms began to present themselves. The symptoms rapidly progressed, with people's lungs filling with a black sludge-like liquid, lovingly nicknamed the Dark Drip. The Dark Drip is one of the final stages before death. But death wasn’t the end. Even before the dredge began to dominate the population, the world was falling into chaos. Humans were devolving, becoming more feral and aggressive. The fight for survival led people to pillage homes for supplies and kill anyone who didn’t comply. With no water, the food supplies dried up as well. No water for crops and no water for livestock—everything was dying except for the undead. The Wastelanders began forming clans, with the most powerful and dominant being the Iron Claw, led by their feared leader SkullSmasher. Known for his ruthless decision-making and mercilessness toward those outside the Claw, he ruled with an iron fist. Can you escape the facility full of dredge? Even if you do, can you face the hardships of the wastelands and come out on top? Find out this year at Kern County’s premier haunted house destination, Scare Valley.
