Perfect Crime

Did not know what was going on.

I wouldn’t recommend this room. The puzzles are TEDIOUS. They take so much time for how many puzzles are in the room. Very very searchy room. There were some disconnects between input/output and relationships within the room. Definitely jumps were made. We were fortunate we knew most of the map cities but man if you don’t travel/aren’t geographically inclined and have to use that janky atlas they give you, it’s gonna be a ROUGH ride. We also had a missing piece. And a function that was supposed to drop something never dropped. One search aspect required more force than I was comfortable with. Another two input features have 0 feedback at all (e.g. a phone with no dial tone, keyboard). We got out but it was a doozy. The picture is what I wanted to do with my own head at the end of this room lol

Super random room with lots of things all over the room. Didn't enjoy it much.

This room is very scattered. The clues are random, hard to follow. We asked for a hint and our game master told us to ‘look harder’. Very unfriendly experience, it was like we were bothering the workers. This is the least expensive escape rooms in San Jose for a reason. Spend a little more else where. Very dirty. We asked our game master at the end how to finish this clue, and he didn’t even know how to finish the puzzle.

Overall we weren't incredibly impressed with this room. The rooms were big, but mostly empty. Void of a lot of set decoration that makes escape rooms interesting and fun. While some of the puzzles were interesting, it was obvious that it'd been played a lot--pieces were worn around the edges. There was a place to write down things with dry erase marker, and these things weren't erased before we went in to play the room. Some of the puzzles were fun, and others were simply monotonous.

I liked this room more than some in my group. There was puzzle that we guessed the answer to, and even after they explained how to do, I didn’t understand.

I did this room with my husband and another couple about two years ago. I honestly cannot remember much of it, only that it was OKAY. The vibe, theme, and props could have been better. Nothing really stood out to me; not even the puzzles were memorable enough. Again, overall, it was very mediocre. I really hope they give this room a revamp/rework.
