It’s 2:55 in the afternoon, you, Wyatt Earp, and three other marshals are sitting inside the O.K. Corral Saloon discussing the latest series of crimes that are blamed on the local cowboy outlaws. This group of outlaws are known for their violent criminal history. You and the other lawmen have had several previous confrontations with this group. While, you, your brothers Virgil and Morgan, and your best friend Doc Holliday are devising a plan to round up the cowboy outlaws, the townspeople start screaming. Immediately, you all know something bad is about to happen. Looking out from the window of the saloon, you see 5 outlaws riding into town on their horses and heading toward the saloon, including the notorious Billy Clanton and Frank McLaury. When Billy and Frank draw their pistols, you know it is going to be a fight for your life. You draw and fire in defense of your own life, the lives of your brothers, and Doc Holliday. In a cloud of dust and gun smoke, chaos ensues. You shoot your gun until you run out of bullets! The whole shoot out takes only 30 seconds - the most terrifying 30 seconds of your life! After the dust settles, 3 bodies lay in front of you. Quickly, you notice two of your people are injured but the rest are unharmed. The marshals have won the fight! However, there is some bad news: the other 2 outlaws are nowhere to be found. The marshals must quickly identify who has been shot and who is on the run. You will have 60 minutes to complete this task or the 2 outlaws will surely escape to Mexico! Find the clues, solve the puzzles, pick the locks, find the names of the guilty suspects and get out of the saloon within the hour. Rely on your intuition, have confidence in your team and leave no stone unturned! Remember, as you always say: “Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything. In a gunfight… you need to take your time in a hurry!” Do you have what it takes to complete your mission?

We did not make it out, but I believe we were close. Once our time was up and they came in and showed us how to open the lock we got stuck on we felt so silly we’d missed something that in hindsight was so obvious. But we had a blast playing anyways. And I did appreciate that it was a low tech room. There were I believe 3 sort of low tech locks, and the rest were old no tech good old combo or key locks, which is my preference. We did have our 5 year old in tow today, and it’s normally just my husband and I. I’d like to think if it had been just the two of us, we’d have escaped. lol. But trying to raise another escape room junkie and gotta get him started some time.

Western themed room with a piano and a fake bar. Not well made but not terrible. It wasn’t as fun as the others but the puzzles were occasionally challenging.

The facility is AWESOME! Cool bar setup, and amazing staff. There is parking close by for cheap, too. The game itself is pretty old. Much of the logic is outdated when compared to games built in the last 5 years… but we had fun, had a beer, and we plan to return!

Did this room solo, if you call ahead when it's slow, maybe you can too! Got out with about 10 minutes left, even as a solo player. The opening puzzle I found to be the hardest then it got easier. The finale did a nice job tying the room together. The set was somewhat bare, but not bad. Overall, this would be an okay first-timer room, or doing solo if you want/can, but otherwise probably worth skipping for something else
Got to interact with a very large prop
They let me play solo, very accommodating!

Loved the decor of the room and how fun the puzzles were. We had 6 people which was the right amount for this room. I'd say about half of the locks were traditional, but they had a fun twist on them. One of my more favorite western themed!

This one was just ok. If there was something between Like and Dislike, that’s where I’d put this one. Fun enough but nothing special. It was a little tough to get going with the first clue, but once you figure out the first one, then the ball starts rolling. There’s a couple puzzles that’ll stump you along the way, but not too bad. It felt really short, I feel like there could’ve been a few more clues.

I wish there was an option between thumbs up and thumbs down. This one was a bit “meh” for me. It was fine, we escaped with two and everything functioned like it should have. It wasn’t a “bad” experience but at the same time it certainly wasn’t unique or memorable. Pretty run of the mill with little to no pizazz. (Despite the fact that it’s based on the OK Coral shootout, and my favorite movie is Tombstone….but I digress) Of the rooms at Escapology, this is probably the least “inspired” as far as puzzle styles are concerned. Good enough if you’re jonesing to do a room, but certainly not anything novel.
