3 escape rooms
Great escape room! I’ve done about 10 of them now… (I just downloaded the Morty app and I’m reviewing all the previous ones I’ve completed) I’m so glad this was my first one I ever did. It’s a perfect blend of high quality production design, staff interaction, exciting special effects (big set pieces!), and intricate puzzles that are just challenging enough. To receive hints in this particular escape room you have to “call on the pharaoh” and he will verbally talk to you (maybe even make fun of you) It’s pretty great. This one is a must try for north county San Diego.

I always enjoy a good egypt themed game. This room was maintained nicely. There were lots of tech puzzles but every single one of them worked without glitching. There was one particular mechanical puzzle that I didn't think was going to work very well but we triggered it smoothly on the first try. Again, very clean and well kept room. Other than that, the puzzles were straight forward. This would be a good entry-level room but experienced escapers might find it a little flat. The best part of this room by far are the game master and host interactions. This place had a lively staff who really added so much value to the experience. Overall solid Egyptian themed room.
High quality room, but it was a little too dark.
Great staff

My team and I blew through this room. The puzzles aren't super straight forward, but I guess with our experience it was pretty beginner level. There weren't that many puzzles but they were high tech so it was definitely fun to experience. Our game master was super nice and was really excited to recommend some other escape rooms to us. Note that pharaoh only talks to you if you ask for hints. Which we didn't so we didn't really interact with pharaoh lol

The theming of this room was excellent. I loved the puzzles and how they weren’t just more combination locks. However, we went with 3 people and got out in 38 minutes. We are experienced players, but still, I would have loved a more difficult challenge.
Much better than most rooms. Every surface was covered in Egyptian theming.

He was friendly, but talked waaaaaay too fast. He was stumbling on his words a lot and having to retry saying things. I wish he would have just slowed down. Even if he was saying all the words, people need to hear them more slowly to absorb the information, let alone be captured by the story and to imagine it.

The puzzles were unique (not just a bunch of combo locks) and the atmosphere was completely absorbing.

Would be tough for a person in a wheelchair. One puzzle would be hard for a color blind person.

Loved that there were no combo locks. Only one key lock and the rest were puzzle type games. Looked very cool and immersive.

This was my 9th escape room (5W - 4L) that I solved with a group of three people of similar abilities. The decorations / props were fabulous! Everything was in tip-top condition. The Game Master was very enthusiastic and stayed in character throughout the intro. We are eagerly anticipating our next room with Locked.
There were a few puzzles we haven't encountered before - lots of fun!
The room decorations & props were in tip-top condition and perfect for the theme.
Our GM was terrific - she stayed in character throughout the whole intro and was very funny.

I keep coming back to praising the great decorations
The plot was great and the clues / experiences were completely within the theme.

This was my 9th escape room (5W-4L), but I had a very intelligent partner making most of the decisions.

It was almost entirely high-tech

Three adults was a good number. If you are new to games, perhaps one or two more?
Not scary
The only scary part was the dim lighting. No live actors or jump-scares. I'm a big chicken and I was fine.

Overall, it was a very fun experience! Very immersive and the storyline was fun and unique. Our last escape room was a few months ago, and this was a great escape room for us to get back into the swing of things.
The props and immersive aspects were amazing!! Super fun integration of the Ancient Egyptian era.
The staff was amazing and added to the experience and storyline.

I feel like we might've been able to do it with 2 players, but having a third mind at work certainly helped.

I took my family to this room for their first escape room experience and they had a great time! I think it's an appropriate difficulty for beginners, however, it is really short. There were six of us and I was the only one who had done a room before. We finished in just over 30 minutes (it's a 60 minute room). I think the difficulty was fine, but the room definitely could have benfited from one or two additional puzzles. (So I would say don't bring more than 4 people. No more than 2, maybe 3, if you are experienced). That being said, this room is a lot of fun! The theming and atmosphere are great, and there are definitely some unique mechanics! Definitely left my family wanting more escape room experiences. Also, the people working there are super nice.

The hint system is very interactive and maybe a little intense if you aren't someone who's a little more shy. My group never needed to ask for a hint, though. There were also some cool mechanics that I haven't seen in other rooms before!
