Favorite of the three rooms we did here. Got off to very fast start and then got stuck on one puzzle which game master gave us a tip on. Fun tasks to complete at the beginning of the room!

We really enjoyed this game! The set design was great, the story was fun. Several unique tricks and sensors used. Puzzles were of moderate difficulty and kept us on our toes but never felt so difficult we were stumped or needed clues. We really enjoyed this game!!

We had a great time! The theming was very cute; it definitely had the vibes of an old carnival. The puzzles were good. They start out straight forward, increase in challenge/complexity as you go, but never get overly frustrating. Our GM, Joni, did a great job keeping us on the right track without ever spoiling the juiciest bits of the puzzle solving. We look forward to doing another room at Escape from St. Louis soon!
We liked the puzzles. IMO they got increasingly difficult but never anything that required wild leaps. We look forward to doing another room here.
The carnival theming was cute!
Joni was a sweetie and did a great job with clues. My group doesn’t generally want to ask for them (even when we should), so she did well at saving them for when she could tell we were truly struggling or had repeatedly overlooked something important, and even then, the clues were usually subtle enough to let us still make the biggest leaps on our own. She also timed the clues perfectly as we finished with just 2 minutes to spare so she has a very firm handle on the pacing of the room.
Mechanical
It was definitely more mechanical vs tech, but I think it actually played well into the theming that way. Traveling carnival lends itself well to a more old school, tactile, experience.

While I think 5+ brains could be useful, there is not physical room for more than 1-2 people to get near some of the puzzles in the tighter spaces so 3-4 people would be pretty good.

Folks with only red/green color blindness would probably be fine but anything broader reaching than that could be troublesome; several puzzles use color.

Easy to access from front door on street, but you can also enter next to the parking lot on the southwest side of the building (go into the windowed vestibule, go down stairs, turn right, walk down long hallway past restrooms, turn left at The Studio and it’s at the end of the hall).

Overall, good room. The puzzles are challenging, but different. It is tough for two people but doable. Staff is great! Nice detail in the room.
