The Jail

Duuuuude what a cool room! More immersive than any other prison experience I've been in. Loads of references and great touches of humour, and very 70s in feel overall (which is my thing, so I spent so much time just enjoying the set design). Without giving away spoilers, there are some great moments of roleplay, which adds soooo much to the game. But don't let that scare you if you'd prefer to be left alone: it all makes sense in narrative and puzzle path. In terms of puzzles, there is a LOT to do. Lots of physical puzzles, and some seriously inventive and creative use of word puzzles! It has a wonderful mix of so many styles. As a team of two it pushed us to our limits and we escaped with a real sense of accomplishment. Fantastic. A total gem, not just as a room but also as a place in general. The staff are so passionate and friendly. They deserve every bit of success coming their way (and MORE!)

Loved this escape room. Staff were brilliant (fellow IN9 fan). The immersion was top quality.

Excellent room, really enjoyed the live actor element. I didn't get the name of the actor but she was fantastic! Good variety of puzzles, lots of fun!

We really enjoyed this game and a lovely welcome as always from Fran. Lots of puzzles to keep the 2 of us busy but we managed to escape just in the nick of time! (we like to get our monies worth!!) Good theming and fun to complete. Completely different to the Escape Reality Alcatraz and you can opt for a live actor if you play during the weekend. Looking forward to coming back to visit the circus!

We had so much fun today escaping from the jail as a team of 2 (no live actor). Fran and Richard were so welcoming, the puzzles were challenging but satisfying, the room was funny (as underrated quality!) with some ideas we haven’t seen before. We can’t wait to come back to do the rest of the rooms at Nomad!

Just wonderful to have Nomad Escape Rooms open. Fran and Richard have done a wonderful job and their enthusiasm and love of escape rooms shines through in every part of the experience. We loved The Jail experience. It had a super array of puzzles and some of them even allow for that head slap moment. We honestly came out feeling smart! Go and support them and enjoy escaping from The Jail.
